Tiffin Innovation Program
The Tiffin Innovation Program (TIP), a new business startup incubator for TU students, is underway.
For entrepreneurially minded students who want to start their own company, the TIP program is a three-month program designed to inspire and educate.
Selected on-campus and online students will meet once a week to learn how to develop and launch an innovative start-up company.
Speakers will include established high-profile entrepreneurs like TU Board Member, Danial Jameel, Founder & President at Ready Education, a leading student engagement platform for higher education.
The curriculum will take the teams through ideation, product research, building and using talent in a startup, finding market fit, talking with investors and fundraising, understanding PR and making connections important to startups.
Guest speakers will talk to the teams about their story and work with teams to refine their business, positioning, and funding options.
Guest speakers include entrepreneurs from Facebook, Logitech, Amazon, Bus.Com and many, many other companies.
On April 27, teams will be reviewing their startups and will be exposed to venture capitalists and private equity organizations in hopes of raising funds for their business.
